Severn Way - The Longest Riverside Walk in Britain
Welcome to severnway.co.uk, a walking service to let you explore more easily part of the upper reaches of the River Severn.
For quality of life the Severn Way offers a unique combination of leisure experiences, from just being out in the fresh air in fine countryside to a healthy way of exploring many of the historic townscapes and other attractions along the route. It may suit walkers who have done the major national trail, but fancy something more leisurely and less strenuous ... or a group of friends on a pub architecture appreciation tour!
Linking England and Wales, the 337 km (210 miles) Way marked walking trail is easily accessible.
Hendomen Farmhouse is situated just 1.2 miles from the Caerhowel Bridge over the Severn, 3 miles from Montgomery.
Bruce and Jo Lawson offer a transport service, in conjunction with a local taxi firm, linked to Bed & Breakfast accommodation for walkers walking the Severn Way between Llanidloes and Shrewsbury, a distance of approximately 60 miles.
